Are you up to date with the Ironman Week schedule? Here are some program highlights to keep an eye on.

Programme from 2026.

Wednesday August 12th

• 10.00–18.00: Ironman Kalmar Village is open (Kvarnholmen)
• 18.00: Race start 4:18:4 Kalmar (Kattrumpan)
• 18.10: The first participant reaches the bike course
• 18.40: The first participant reaches the run course
• 18.50: Estimated first finish (Stortorget)
• 19.30: Award ceremony (Stortorget)

Thursday August 13th

• 10.00–18.00: Ironman Kalmar Village is open (Kvarnholmen)
• 13.00: Experience Oman Ironman Pro Series Panel at the finish line on Stortorget. Some of the top female and male professionals will be interviewed by speaker Paul Kaye, and spectators can submit questions to the athletes via a QR code. Five questions will be selected – and anyone whose question is picked will recieve a gift card to Merchandise.

Friday August 14th

• 10.00–18.00: Ironman Kalmar Village is open (Kvarnholmen)
• 16.00: Race start Ironkids (Kvarnholmen)

Saturday August 15th

• 06.25: Introduction of the professional athletes taking part in Ironman Kalmar. This year, around 100 professionals will be on the start line – a record number! The event is part of the Ironman Pro Series.
• 06.45: PRO men start (Tullhamnen)
• 06.50: PRO women start (Tullhamnen)
• 07.00: Age group rolling start
• 07.30: The first athlete is expected to reach the bike course
• 07.45: The first athlete is expected to reach Färjestaden on Öland
• 10.15: The first lap completion at the Ängö roundabout
• 11.30: The first athlete is expected to reach the run course
• 14.20: Expected first finisher (Stortorget)
• 22.20–23.20: Heroes' hour – Finish line party
• 23.20: Finish line cut of and celebration
