In Kvarnholmen, the heart of Kalmar, you’ll feel the echoes of history. Why not take a walk along the city wall and look out over the town? Take the opportunity to wander through the alleys of Old Town, where you can see beautiful houses from the 18th and 19th centuries.

Kalmar’s charming city centre is located on the island of Kvarnholmen. It has a wealth of cosy cafés and restaurants. Some are even listed in the White Guide.
